NEW WEBSITE NAME

I have now registered a new website name and will be making plans to change it all over in the next few weeks. The new website will be called www.seasthemoment.info best I could do with this one but it didn't seem to right to keep it as chillioyster.com. Will make sure there is still a link from ChilliOyster.com and will let you know when the change happens.

We have sold Chilli at Last!!!

Well we finally did it, at 5pm on Dec 15th, ChilliOyster was finally sold and for 24 hrs at least we are boatless! we hope to complete on the new boat - SEAS the MOMENT, by the end of the week!

Visit to UK

I went back to the UK on Nov 11th, and flew back into Tortola via Antigua, with Dave's dad, Ken on Nov 25th. I didn't get to see everyone I hoped whilst back but had a great time with Lisa and the babies. So wonderful to have the opportunity to spend such quality time with them when they are so small. Big Birthday Day!

One of the crew had a very significant birthday yesterday. The day started with champagne and birthday cake and ended in a lovely little restaurant in town called The Dove. will put a more detailed write up on the blog asap.

Molly Swims!

At the grand old age of 7, Molly has finally decided she likes to swim! Whenever she is on the beach now she just heads straight in and keeps going! She even jumped off the pontoon, went under the water and then just kept paddling! Dave has described her exploits in more detail on the latest blog.

Molly Comes Home!

Molly came home 2 nights ago. She has settled straight back in and we are all really happy to have her back, but taking her away from Lincoln and his family was very upsetting, they clearly love her and she was very happy with them. I wish there was a way we could share her!

Sailing Again

Chilli went back in the water last week and we sailed her across to the USVI to collect the children from St Thomas, have put some new pictures on picasa, and will update the Blog later today

Back in the USA!!

We're currently in Norfolk Virginia, landed in Miami on Wed night and spent yesterday looking at catamarrans in Ft Lauderdale, Got into to Norfolk late last night.The cats we looked at yesterday were disappointing, they were mostly lagoons we had seen when we visited earlier this year, there was only one new one to look at. So we found our way to the Prout International Offices, empty but we rang the number, they were all at the Annapolis Boat Show but said they would be very happy to give us a preview of the Prout 46 that they have on their stand at the show. It's a lot of miles but hey we thought lets do it, so change of plan we are off to Cape Charles today and then instead of heading South to Charleston we will head North to Annapolis on Sunday and hook up with Prout.

Going back to the BVI

Well after 4 months in the UK, 3 months longer than planned! We are finally headed back to our Dog and our boat. Molly has been staying with a lovely family in the BVI. Last week they sent us a picture of her playing on the beach, at least one of us had a BBQ summer!

A Clean Bottom!

Chilli Oyster now has a very clean bottom, we had her hauled out this week, and had 4 inches of coral scraped off her - this is her just before we applied $1900 of black antifoul to her bottom!
