About Us
We are two consenting adults, with three big things in common, we are both on our second marriages, we both have two great kids and we have both spent all of our lives absolutely committed to our work. Our work was Forensic Science, this is how we met and has been a passion we have shared for a combined total of 52 years. We now have two kids at home, made by me, raised by us; a boy, Jordan, age 15 – an innocent, stay at home kind of kid and a girl of 12, India, nothing innocent here, independent and sharp as a razor, models herself on a combination of Paris Hilton and a variety of High School Musical actresses. Then there are 3 dogs, one bearded Collie, one chocolate Labrador and one miniature wirehaired Dachshund. We only plan to take Molly, the beardie with us, the others have both been offered holiday homes with close friends and family. Finally we currently live in a country cottage in Worcestershire, which if you happen to live in the UK is far away from the sea as you can possibly get. We are not planning to sell the house at present - for all we know we'll have had enough and want to come home in 3 months! So we plan to let it for a year while we decide what to do. Will we ever come back here? I'm not sure, we've spoken to lots of people who have done this and none of them have gone back.
And we have two adults raised by 'him' who are no longer at home but are close. They are Ollie (29), married to Lisa, a lovely scottish lassie, and Flick (27) who lives with her partner Matt in Newcastle. They both have their own lives now, Ollie works offshore in the Oil industry as an ROV operator (he operates one of those robotic machines that inspects oil pipelines or keeps an eye on divers!) and Flick is a hospital doctor in Newcastle Upon Tyne. They don’t plan to take off with us, but they are ready to visit when we reach more exotic warming climes!
